How the list stays current
The FEHD list changes daily. Rather than wait for the next PDF, we read the source data and compare it every day.
- 01
Read the FEHD source
The live FEHD data for premises permitted to admit dogs is read every day, so nothing waits on their next PDF.
- 02
Compare it record by record
Every record is checked against what is already listed, picking out additions, removals, and premises that were renamed or recategorised.
- 03
Ship it the same day
The map, the list, the changelog and the public API all update together, and every change is written into that day's changelog entry.
